Eventghost Problem on Windows 10 - Fexel - 2015-08-02 Hello, Please move this topic if i posted it wrong. Since Windows 10 I cant install the VRC 1100 Plugin in Eventghost. Im starting Eventghost (as allways) as admin. Anyone can give me a hint how to fix that problem? Background: Im using a Hama Remote-Controller. On Windows 7 i was really happy with Eventghost and XBMC/Kodi. Worked for me really well. Main Problems so far: Cant start Kodi from Desktop (anymore) because of the problem with the vcr-1100. Also tried to solve the problem in kodi with MCERemote and keymapper. But i cant set all buttons (Green Start Button for Example or Shutdown Button). Hope for your help, Fexel RE: Eventghost Problem on Windows 10 - uksid - 2016-11-12 I know this is an old thread, but just in case anyone else is searching for a solution to this problem, here's the answer. Windows 10 will not allow unsigned drivers to be installed. The VRC-1100 driver in EventGhost is unsigned, so it won't install. You can disable this behaviour in Windows 10 by folowing the instructions here https://en.code-bude.net/2015/08/19/how-to-install-unsigned-drivers-in-windows-10/. Once you've done that the VRC-1100 driver will install just fine. |
