I have a dm7020 running with the latest Peter Pan release from ww.digsat.com, if I can get the second dreambox dm7020 running I will test some other images too, but have to get a old school cable for the firmware flashing on that one as it crashes when using webinterface for flashing...
There I have made several bouquets with different channels, this works great on 9.04 alpha for windows, but when using my xbox I run into a small problem.
I can connect to my dreambox and it fetches the different bouquets, but when I try to enter one of them it lists the channels and continues to try and connect and gives the error message:

this also happens when I stop a stream and go back to the list of channels.
I can work around the problem by hitting cancel, but this happens for each channel in the list so I have to do it quite a few times.
But it will actually stream the channels on both windows and xbox which is great
also haven't tested on Leopard 10.5.6 yet, but as soon as I have my hackintosh up and running I will test this, hopefully later today
My windows computer is a vista ultimate x64 with 8GB ram running on a q6600 cpu, motherboard is Gigabyte P35c DS3R 1st revision
no idea if this is of any use, but I can do more tests if needed, will see if I can find any flaws in the xbox log files.

I've been running live streams from my Dreambox 800HD for the last few weeks which has been working brilliantly but only had a limited amount of channels, bouquets due to only having a single non motorised dish
Just upgraded my setup to have two dishes and because I have a dual lnb on one dish can now pick up 3 satellites and of course the channel and bouquet count has now increased dramatically.
However, when I now choose the tuxbox live streams from XBMC it now takes an age for the status bar to reach the right hand side and when it gets there it just sits doing nothing at all and XBMC seems to freeze for example the remote control no longer works and I have to hard reboot.
So my question is what if any are the limitations to this feature. Should I keep within x number of channels or x number of bouquets? is there any documentation that might help me 'tune' my channel/bouquet lists to get this to work again please?
or is this even something that I need to change on the Dreambox image somewhere? It would be nice if I could have a full channel list on my Dreambox but only choose a 'cutdown' list for streaming from my XBMC that would be the ideal situation

Mind creating debug logs for the win32 and xbox version doing exactly the same actions? This way we can see what's wrong (hopefully).

haven't had time to do much testing lately, but here goes:

later tonight I will add the log from my win xbmc and if possible my linux xbmc, but afaik there are no errors there and it starts the streams perfectly, it's just the xbox where I have to click away error messages.

Nope, still not a debug log. Enable it in system settings and do a fresh one please.
Also make sure to use a more recent XBOX release like 9.04 RC1.

Ok, am I missing a trick or is everyone in the same boat here? XBMC can list channels but will not play...?
I have the latest babylon build, dreambox 500c enigma image (db2) and web x tv is fine. Just can't stream channels on the xbox.

I recently placed my spare xbox in my bedroom so I can watch TV in bed.
There are no VHF/UHF broadcasts anymore in my country and I only have 1 satellite receiver.
I have trouble using the latest XBMC to my Dreambox 7000 (uses Enigma 1).
To solve this I installed a 30-06-2008 version of XBMC and this works.

Recent XBMC's can not connect to a dreambox using the tuxbox-client...
I have an enigma-1 based dreambox... Maybe it works with enigma-2 (which I don't have)

Hi guys,
This is my 1st post, just switched to XBMC & im loving it, i have 1 questions regarding streaming from a DB, i tried DVBlink for windows & that works fine but switching channels from within Media Center is very slow, like 10 seconds, so does this face the same issue ?
Im using a dreambox 800DVR.
