I also have a dm800 and xbmc for linux/windows/mac don't work. 1 in 100 times it works...
I think this issue was because enigma has a faulty stream, vlc doesn't like it but mplayer plays it (something about a missing PMT table, don't really know for sure).
Xbmc for Xbox uses the mplayer to play but the other builds use dvdplayer, that's why the xbox can read the streams. I use it everyday in my 2 xbox's, but my linux/mac xbmc's can't read the streams (that's why i'm trying tvheadend but that's another story).
I also tried 4 different images for the dreambox with no success...

Mmm, ive noticed on my DM800 that streaming to vlc doesnt work over my wireless network, but fine with cabled network. This never happend on my DM7020. Maybe that has something to do with the PMT table you mentiond aswell.
Anyway, hope it can be fixed.

Exactly same here. I can stream one channel when restarting, then it's over
I'm using XBMC Live 9.11 on a AsRock ion 330 with a Dreambox 7025+.

I have DreamBox 7025+ with GP2 v4.6 and Xbox XBMC sep-09 100Mbit net. I can test also these things.

Using XBMC-SVN_2010-01-17_rev26941-T3CH build.

Problem is: I want to stream DigiTV from my DreamBox (Gemini2 v4.6 image) but the bonquet listing looses the given port.
When I Add a Video Link TuxBox and give the IP, the port (default is 80,but mine is 443), user and password the link works right to the bonquet listing: I get my bonquet listing but the channels beneath one bonquet does no open.
The reason is the port. System does not use the given 443, but the 80.

This has been tested and acording to vdrfan seems to work. Need to test this when the next release pops up.
Xbmc sorts the channel list are you want, there are different criterias (date,name etc...a-z,z-a)
for EPG show there was a script (MyTV) if I can recall it correctly..
