subtitles on recorded movies - dawed - 2015-09-27
Hello
I have some tv recorded movies and want to enable subtitles.
The problem is, tvheadend start recordings before the movie starts and
Capture also all the commercial breaks... Is it possible to synchronize the subtitles with those records?

I use subshifter (web based free tool). It handles shifting and stretching, but only to two reference points. So accommodating for commercial breaks would not be feasible. I see three options going forward:
1) google a bit more and see if u can find a more generic version of subshifter
2) ask developer of subshifter to build this functionailty (it is not that hard to allow for commercial breaks in this ahifting logic)
3) edit your movie filw by cutting out all commercial breaks, then use standard sub shifter
