Kodi Linux Powerdown with Harmony One - DeeKayNL - 2015-10-29 Hello All, I recently changed my HTPC from Windows to Kodibuntu. I already updated Kodi to 15.2 and everything seems to be working properly except one thing. I have altered the settings for shutdown in the settings so shutdown is de default. When I choose shutdown from the Kodi main menu my system completely powers down (as wanted). But the problem is when i want to power everything down with my Logitech Harmony the power toggle instead of powering down gives me a system menu where i can choose for shutdown. But I want to get rid of that menu and I cant seem to find out how. I spend hours and hours searching for the solution but I cant find it. PS MCE Keyboard doesnt work on Kodibuntu am i correct? I also use the Aoen MQ5 skin at the moment. Do you all have any idea? With Regards RE: Kodi Linux Powerdown with Harmony One - bibi - 2015-10-29 http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:Keymap_Editor RE: Kodi Linux Powerdown with Harmony One - DeeKayNL - 2015-10-30 I'll try out the keymap, but is this for my MCE keyboard question or for my shutdown problem also? BTW i have a Epsilon HTPC-1 case which has IR build in. RE: Kodi Linux Powerdown with Harmony One - DaVu - 2015-10-30 I guess, what bibi meant is, the mapping from the remote key is something like "bring up shutdown menu". You can edit this to shutdown the pc directly without the menu. RE: Kodi Linux Powerdown with Harmony One - b0mb - 2015-10-30 I´ve had the same problem with my Harmony 700. So i´ve defined some extra key named power on in the display of the harmony and linked that via keymap editor addon to the shudown command. Works like a charm. |
