htpc gaming pc or nvidia shield tv - xno12 - 2015-10-31

hi guys i currently use a Intel nuc core i3 1.7ghz with 4gb of ram and a 120gb ssd
its perfect for streaming with kodi and windows 10
but i am thinking about switching to nvidia shield tv

my desktop
Intel core i5 3570k @ 4ghz
Kingston 16gb ddr3 1866mhz ram
2x 120gb ssd
MSI GTX 970 4gb

i do like to stream over my network and play steam stream play but at times is meh and anoying to get all the art work for non steam games
i was looking into the shield and it looks like a possible replacement i can sell my current nuc and pretty much buy the shield at no extra cost .

whats your guys take on this , or should i just build a actual gaming htpc?
btw i am also debating on selling my xbox one which if i sell both xbox one and nuc i can build a htpc , or keep my xbox one and just sell the nuc and get a nvidia shield tv

imo, for best experience of shield, is to not only play cloud gaming and android gaming, but utilise the gamestream, therefore having it in conjunction with desktop gaming pc
