MacGyver Wrote:coastal, when you changed the link in the content menu, did you changethe icon and thumb names too, if not and you added a tube-icon.png to the media folder, then the one compressed in the texture.xpr will over-write the normal one in the media folder.

Try changing both the thumb and icon in the content menu to new filenames like retrox-icon.png, and retrox-icon-blur.png, and put the correct files in the media folder of xtv.

Yeah, i edited the home.xml file to point to two new files. shame really, i quite liked my new retro icon. would have blended in well.

Use the XBMC skin manager, which can build the latest version of lots of skins (including xTV) and upload them to the Xbox.

LINK REMOVED

If there is a new version available the old download will be removed, check here for other mirrored skins.

I removed the old version I posted, because there was an update on the SVN, so i've updated it with a new one, you can view all mirrored skins on http://blackmarket.ictcsc.net/files/skins/ like I mentioned before.

thanks martomo, but the revised one is the one that is corrupt. i can download it no worries but it fails to extract properly. the error is something like 'incomplete archive'?

i can get more info about the error for you when i get home if you like.

thanks hired goon. will use that from pm3 and hope for the best!

cheers

sorry again, but the problem also exists for the mc360 rev you have martomo, perhaps it is a problem at my end?

Maybe you have an old version of WinRAR, i just downloaded them and opened the files without any errors. Huh

You can download WinRAR here, http://www.rarlab.com/

I am running a new version of XBMC and it seems that the xTV skin is not valid.
Has anyone followed up with a new version of the xTV skin that is compatible?

OSD Text - raymondh - 2007-11-12

I have a widescreen 46" LCD television (1080p) that has te Xbox connected to it.

I'm new to these settings so please understand...

This skin looks amazing on my tv! The only visual problem I have is with the OSD while I'm watching a movie. The text looks like it is huge and the words overlap each other and can't be read. I'm talking about the text for rewind, ff, subtitles on/off, etc.

I know there are a few places to set the output (skin, xmbc, display, etc) but I'm pretty confused. Can someone tell me what settings I need to work on the fix this?

I would like to ask you for a full debug log but I first suggest you upgrade XBMC and/or copy everything to your Xbox again in case some file is missing or corrupt. Google "T3CH XBMC".

That did it!

Thank you.
