Bluetooth apt-x support - envagyok - 2016-04-10 I'm glad to hear about bluetooth support (pulseaudio) for audio output. I have Sony headphone, that support the lossless APT-X format. With my phone it work. My question: this function work,or will work with RPi? RE: Bluetooth apt-x support - envagyok - 2016-04-14 No one know the answer? RE: Bluetooth apt-x support - ma9ick - 2016-04-17 Apt-X is a proprietary codec, protected by various patents, and it requires licensed libraries and a specific BT stack in order to work. Unfortunately, you can't buy it as a software upgrade for any electronic device or a PC, it either came with it pre-installed (covered by OEM contract/license) or not. I'm afraid your only option would be to by a dedicated Apt-X transmitter and hook it to RPi. |
