How to stop mounted partitions from displaying in "Video Files" - joelbaby - 2016-05-28 Hi, Setting up Kodi for some very basic users. When you go to "Video->Files" it shows all the mounted partitions "/dev/sda1", etc... I tried 'right click', then 'safely remove' - but on next bootup they come up again. How do I prevent all these partitions from displaying in Videos->Files menu without unmounting them? Thanks! RE: How to stop mounted partitions from displaying in "Video Files" - nickr - 2016-05-28 What distro? When I go to Video, Files it shows: SDA2-ATA-..... SDA5-ATA-..... SYSTEM_RESERVED and some others For a very basic user (picture old ladies who work in a museum) I'd like to get rid of those options. It's for a very cool project I will be posting my hardware build on the forum soon. http://i.imgur.com/TfaCwwE.jpg Use case will be: - User turns on device, Kodi comes up. - User puts in USB stick - User reads files from USB. If there is a better way to navigate to straight to the USB, that would be great. Thanks! |
