Few questions, lightpack, sound, remote - rscpl - 2016-06-17 I started configuring my Elementary OS Loki, because I want to move from Windows finally. And I have a few questions. 1. I just (almost) finished with Kodi and Hyperion configuration (lightpack/ambibox), copied whole library from Windows folder etc. I can set colors of LED via mobile app or command line, but I can't get it to work with Kodi. Code: rascal@Rascal-PC:~$ service hyperion status Problem solved here - internal grabber in hyperion should be ticked off. 2. Is there any way to use SPDIF output only in Kodi? I have different speakers connected to analog output and I set it as default. But Kodi is playing sound only when default output in system is set to spdif (yes I selected in Kodi settings correct output). I don't want something like this. 3. I have partially configured lirc. I have OR22V remote, and it is reacting on commands in OS. Is there any way to make it work only with Kodi? I don't want to be able controlling my Kodi **only** when Kodi's window is focused. In Windows I used eventghost (which was just awesome) and different channel for remote. And second thing - if there is an option, then, can I configure every button for specific Kodi functions? For example red button - library refresh, green - menu etc? And I want only one button working system-wide - media center button, for starting kodi. 4. Is there any way to light up defined color after finished playing? For example I'm watching episode of series, it ends and kodi is not shutting down the whole light but it is switching color to (for example) yellow. 5. Refresh rate. Is there any way to set it right after gdm starts? Not after login? I'm using xrandr startpu script, but it's not what I want. Thanks for any help PS, this is my computer in my room, I'm using it for work and entertainment, I have conected my TV by HDMI and my monitor by DVI. My soundcard - Soundblaster X-Fi audio. |
