PVR Client Mediaportal does not start on Kodi 17 beta 4 - popy - 2016-10-26

Hey guys.

I have 2x windows 10 htpc running kodi 17 beta 3 since is out without major issues!
Today i have tried to update to beta 4 which ended in a not working mediaportal PVR addon.
The addon just cant start with an error message.

I have made a debug log: http://pastebin.com/tL0gx71c
Here is something going wrong:

After reverting to a backup of kodi beta 3, PVR is working again.

Any hints?

How far does it get?

I just tried a recent LibreElec build (1025) and it loads the plugin and loads EPG information, but gets stuck at the end of this. Reverting to an earlier build fixes it.

I have made a bug ticket here: http://trac.kodi.tv/ticket/17023 and its already fixed by Martijn.
thx @Martijn for fixing this issue!!!!!!

I can not identify the github commit which fixes the issue.
In which nightly the issue is fixed?

Just wanted to quickly confirm that beta 5 fixed me...just had to re-enable the mp add on.

I also can confirm that the issue is fixed for me with beta 5!

Do you have re-enabled the addon? After beta 4 the addon was disabled.

Yes, every time i try to enable add-on i receive same error for all pvr add-on with beta4.
Now other addon are ok (iptv simple client and nextpvr) but Mediaportal no

@marameox: Check your Kodi.log for pvr.mediaportal related messages. This might help you futher.
Since you are not sharing any details, error messages or a kodi.log file on pastebin, we won't be able to help you currently
