Additional ID3v2 tags in the database (Tempo, Mood, and Occasion) - cayotic - 2007-11-20 What's the likelyhood that we could get support for additional id3 tags that are supported in mediamonkey like Tempo, Mood, and Occasion? I'm trying to find a way to get the smart playlist to choose the optimum party music and I think the best way to do this would to impliment tags that are already at our dispossal. If not, that's fine, I'll just use the comment block as I see that this field is an available search option using the smart playlist generator. Just looking for a response before I go and retag the comment blocks of my rated music. Thanks... - jmarshall - 2007-11-20 The comment field is the quickest way, yep. Tag n rename can probably copy them across (or foobar's masstagger can perhaps?) Chances of more being added is pretty slim at this point by me at least. Cheers, Jonathan - cayotic - 2007-11-20 Thanks, I started something simply like: Tempo: Very Slow Tempo: Slow Tempo: Moderate Tempo: Fast Tempo: Very Fast |
