Thanks for the feedback. I am actually running 9.04.1 as it turns out, I forgot I'd upgraded on this PC :-)

Indeed, I had to copy the plugin to \AppData\Roaming\XBMC\plugins\programs inside my user profile, which is not a suggestion I had seen anywhere else (although I do have a vague memory of having to do something similar on my mac). Worked first go after that.

There, I knew I was doing something wrong!

goto the google code group http://code.google.com/p/xbmc-addons/ and ask one of the "Owners" to add you as a "Committer"

I am a n00b to XBMC, but I wrote a simple plugin for viewing our site's public video RSS. The content is considered adult because it contains nudity and can be suggestive, so I was wondering where the best place to post it would be -- I don't want to post it anywhere inappropriate. Would this be appropriate for SVN repo or is there somewhere else that would be more appropriate? Thanks!

Managed to install this program on xbmc/linux and it appears in programs. If I install youtube or quicktime (or even a skin) I see three textlines (linux text interface) and xbmc restarts? This happens right after I click install

I just booted XBMC, went straight to svn repo, clicked scriptes and then clicked on youtube. When I then clicked install I almost immeidately saw the cursor shape change to an X, text window and an xbmc restart

I can run SVN repository. I checked for updates but I already have the latest version, no updates for SVN.

Then I clicked on scripts, selected quicktime, and then click install-button. Right then it crashes.
