i've read the Wiki, the thing is The SVN repo Installer that i should copy under programms in my live version on xbmc is impossible to download on googlecode so i can't access it or download it. that's all i need

As I remember something has changed since r28276.
When building xbmc from repo (e.g. r31136) on Fedora 13 I don't get SVN Repo Installer running.
Does anybody know what has changed in r3xxxx for SVN Repo Installer (as it was running before in r28276)?
Is there a guide available to fix it?

It shouldn't really be required anymore, as the addon installer takes over. Ofcourse, many scripts and plugins have yet to be updated, but I expect the popular ones will start being available in the next week or so.

SVN Repo Installer not showing up in Rev 31004 - Niclas7 - 2010-06-21 16:32
Hi all,
last night I installed Rev. 31004 of XBMC including DSPlayer twice.
First: over my existing installation
Second: after having uninstalled the previous XBMC installation
Unfortunately in both cases I cannot find and use the SVN Repo Installer.
Even copying the appropriate files into XBMC\programs or XBMC\plugins\programs or XBMC\plugins\videos or XBMC\addons didn't help.
SVN Repo Installer won't show up in XBMC.
Does anyone have a solution for this issue ?

I'm pretty sure the svn repo installer isn't used anymore with the new builds. It's either addons or nothing, unless you want to pre-r28000 builds.

svn repo installer is deprecated and i doubt it will be updated to fit the new shit. use the builtin add-on installer (yes, less content still but eventually anything of value will get there).

Wow, that's bad news !
The SVN Repo Installer brought me tons of Scripts and AddOns while the new one brings me only a few things but not really what I'm looking for.
Even better: the new AddOn-Manager shows me: nothing !
After having freshly installed XBMC Rev. 31004 each category was empty and I had no way to browse for any scripts or AddOns. :rolleyes2:
Now I have to choose: either I live with this poor AddOn thingie, can play 720p and 1080p movies but have lost my full media center with Radio stream, YouTube-Addons, VideoMonkey, etc. or I reinstall my old XBMC again and have no way to chose DXVA and so play back 720p and 1080p in XBMC (have to switch to Media Player Classic and so on).
Other alternative would be XBMC Live, running on an USB-Stick, with the choice of VDPAU.
If the SVN Repo Installer is still contained in the latest XBMC Live build this might be then my most favourite choice.
Too bad.
