When you unzip Navi-X_v31.zip it will create a folder called Navi-X. Copy this folder into "C:\Program Files\XBMC\scripts" (on 64 bit Windows "C:\Program Files (x86)\XBMC\scripts"). Now when you start XBMC and go into Scripts you should see Navi-X.

check in c:\documents and settings\your user name\application data\

if there's a folder called xbmc copy the script in there (..\xbmc\scripts\)

1. If you open "My Computer" then "Local disk (CSmile" - it might be called something else but will have (CSmile in the name - do you see a folder called "Program Files" and/or a folder called "Program Files (x86)".

2. If you double click the "Program Files" (or "Program Files (x86)" if it exists) folder do you see a folder called XBMC?

3. If you double click the XBMC folder do you see a folder called "scripts"?

JR

PS everywhere I've put C colon it's displaying as a smily face. Wherever you see a smily face it should be C colon.

I also have the same streaming problem - keaden - 2010-01-31 14:27

Jopplehead Wrote:I have the same issue, I hope someone will help us. :confused2:

I have a Hardmodded v 1.4 xbox with the xecuter 3 chip, an up to date copy of XBMC and the Navi-X 3.1 script.

I'm having the exact same problem as Jopplehead and Viruzman of streams simply stopping right in the middle of play. I've checked and there is no stream speed drop or any buffering just before the cut out, the stream just simply stops and it happens while streaming videos from any source on Navi-X. Not such a problem while watching short videos but a real pain while trying to watch full movies

Do you guys have any ideas on what could be causing this?

Please visit the Navi-Xtreme forums at http://navix.turner3d.net/. There are streaming issues with a number of video sites. Details can be found in the forums.

Navi-X video streams not working? - hught78 - 2010-02-02 06:18

XBMC: T3CH XBMC 2010-01-17 SVN rev26941 on my xbox AND 9.11 on my Macbook Pro

Navi-X: 3.02 on my xbox AND 3.1 on my Macbook Pro

I'm having trouble streaming movies from Boseman, Shabooya, Justme4u2c. On my mac everything crashes and on my xbox it just times out. Talked to someone else and they're seeing the same thing. Anyone have any ideas or seeing the same thing?

Any chance of Navi-x having a 'Download' option ?

navi-x buffer problems - swishaha - 2010-02-06 01:46

hey everyone. long time xbmc user but new to this navi-x script/plugin. looking for some help, unsure if its setting related or problems with the plugin.

having buffering problems using navi-x 3.0.2 script and same using 3.0 plugin. i prefer the plugin because navi-x seems to function better. when using the script it seems to get confused after opening a few video files and displays cant open folder/file or similar. think i read this as a known problem that they are working on.

im currently running a hard modded xbox console running xbmc build r25497 complied dec 9 2009, mplayer svn-r17397 jan 27 2009

using navi-x plugin 3.0 plugin version.

problem is when browsing the portal and load a video 99% of the time i have extreme buffering problems after the video has loaded. usually between 30-90seconds between buffer. i also have this problem using the script version.

i have a 6mbit cable connection with one pc and my xbox hardwired. and sometimes have a few wireless devices running with nothing downloading.

i have been searching for some related info on this topic but many posts are outdated or unanswered. just thought id pop a quick question. hopefully someone might point me in the right direction. not sure how to post a debug report, if that even applies to the xbox version, but i dont know how.

if navi-x is just that buggy at this stage, fine with me, just looking for a confirmation on that or possibly some help with this issue.

thx for taking the time to read my post, any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think it is that buggy at this stage. Very inconsistent.
