@ faseman7. Sorry can't help you with that. Probably some issue with a processor. Ask this on http://navix.turner3d.net/

Requesting a plugin version. - branlr - 2011-01-16 22:57

Apparently there are some issues getting this script to work correctly in dharma--which sucks, and I hope someone is up to fixing this thing up and get it in the repo, cause it's a great service.

Also, though, I was wondering if someone would be interested in recreating the plugin version that used to exist. The benefit of the plugin version, is it allows deep linking within the navi-x menus from the favourites menu or the home screen. Therefore, you can use this script to add custom buttons with genre specific streaming content, such as "sports" or "news" etc etc... very cool stuff for bringing the web to xbmc's home screen.

Just a thought.

jason4207 Wrote:This is where I get confused. Where is the "scripts" folder? Online it says it's at C:\Program Files\XBMC\, but I don't see a scripts folder there (I'm on Windows 7 x64, so I went to the Programs (x86) folder). I created a scripts folder at C:\Program Files (x86)\XBMC\scripts, and placed the extracted Navi-X folder into it. But then how do I run the script? Instructions online say to go to the main menu and go to scripts. I don't see that anywhere. I see Videos, Movies, TV Shows, Music, Pictures, Weather, and Settings. And when I try to adjust the skin options for what to show in the Main Menu I see nothing related to scripts anywhere, so I assume I'm not just hiding it from myself. The only thing I can find related to scripts is under settings->skin settings and then there is a script sub-menu, but nothing there allows me to run a script. Confused

I also see some "script" folders in C:\Program Files (x86)\XBMC\addons; script.module.pil, script.module.pysqlite, script.recentlyadded, script.rss.editor. Are these where I need to put the files? Confused

I'm on Windows 7 x64 w/ the 10.0 XBMC release running the Transparency skin (but I also tried it w/ Confluence).

Please help!

Edit: Nevermind...got it working.

I left the downloaded zip file in zip format and did the "Install from Zip File" option in the add-ons option menu. Then I added "Programs" and the "Program Add-ons" sub-menu to the main menu using the skin options.

I did that (install from zip file) but keep getting a "failed" message. Anyone have a thought on what to do?

Vista OS.

seems to be mostly working for me in Dharma, some bits of the UI are a little un-streamlined in Dharma though.

I am having the same issue as faseman7. I am running Dharma on a Win7 machine. I am view short video clips but cannot load any movies. Someone over at the Navi-X forum recommended downgrading to Dharma r33778.

Hi, I've downloaded a movie through Navi-X - it shows when I browse for it in the program, but where is the actual file held on my HD? I want to transfer to my Video Library etc?

Sorry if i'm being DUmb!!

The default location is Navi-X/My Downloads. I don't know the exact location because this depends what system you got. Easiest way I can think of is that you will need to search for Navi-X or the name of the file you downloading inside the XBMC folder.

Next time when you download. You can select browse (you will able to choose where to download the file) and than select Ok.

I'm having some trouble getting the Navi-X program installed on XBMC for iOS. I've already requested some help in that forum but I'll give it a shot here too. I download the zip, do the install from zip function for add-ons, see the icon for Navi-X in the programs section afterward, but for some reason none of the icons in the programs section work. Not Navi-X, back button, get add-ons. Nothing.

Sorry can't help you. I saw your post in the other topic and I would think they could help you with that. If that is not the case go to the Navi-X forums.
