I seem to be having a hard time entering the Navi-X program on ATV2. For all other programs I just click the center button on the Apple remote to enter the Add-ON. I am on the latest version of Navi and have a very difficult time actually ever getting it to work. Sometime I click the button 30 times before it works. Anyone else having this problem?

Make sure you are using the latest Navi-X and XBMC. The latest Navi-X release is Navi-X 3.7.1. Thanks.

Hello World. Big Grin

It's great to be back on the XBMC forums again! After getting super-banned a long time ago, I apologized for being a jerk to RWParris and Spiff about it and so far Spiff has at least accepted my apology! For this I'm greatful! Big Grin

I'm back to monitor the thread here and provide navi-x support whenever I can. I'm the lead technician for the project as well as project coordinator, so if anyone wants to try new things in the Navi-X project, don't hesitate to ask. Right now development for the year has halted so no feature requests will be implemented, but we always keep a running tally for when development resumes again.

I just wanted to say thanks again to RWParris and Spiff for all the work they do for XBMC and I'm sorry for being rude over a year and a half ago... the super-ban has given me time to re-consider my positions in general.

Regards,

iRoNBiLL

Hi Bill

The search is still freezing when searching with anything past 10.7
Hopefully this can be fixed sometime.

Navi-x is great.

Navi-x is great.

This issue was already resolved in Navi-X 3.7.1. Instead of using custom dialog boxes and window states, we are using the standardized calls for XBMC's internal states... or so I heard.

Try using XBMC 11.1 and Navi-X 3.7.1. We already had people from multiple platforms confirm it works for them.

Here is XBMC 11.1+ for Mac OSX and ATV systems.
Try using this with Navi-X 3.7.1.

http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/osx/xbmc-20111108-2890af7-master-i386.dmg

Otherwise, Navi-X 3.6 and XBMC 10.1+ should work fine. Because of changes in pythonlibs recently between different XBMC builds, you have to use the right version of Navi-X with XBMC or your script will crash during search and password input box prompts. Thanks.

the problem is navi-x lets you search once.. on a fresh install but then after restarting it freezes XBMC on search and a hard reset is the only way out.
