I don't know the breath and depth of the issues but it's definitely something with the latest nightly builds. At this point, use the stable 10.1 version or a nightly build that works until someone at Team XBMC or on the jailbreakers side where the problem is. iRoNBiLL - iR0NBiLL - 2011-11-17 22:25 ykhehra1 Wrote:some stuff working now, but cartoon network, PBS kids etc still not working. Those two scrapers haven't been working for a while now. Check up on our forums at navix.turner3d.net and search in the top right search box for cartoon network or pbs kids and you will see the notes. iRoNBiLL - iR0NBiLL - 2011-11-17 22:28 macf1an Wrote:seems that grooveshark died on all clients... script still returns search results but none are playable I noticed this too. I just reported it for you in our "Broken Scrapers / Processors" reporting thread. If anyone else would like to report broken scrapers and processors, now is a great time to do it since Turner3D is not so busy now and he can fix it. Thanks. http://navix.turner3d.net/forums/?action=topic_view&id=270&page=49 iRoNBiLL - jaemlllz - 2011-11-17 23:22 iR0NBiLL Wrote:2 hours after the outage, we came back online! Yay! Thank god for navi-x! update - Cool_bombom - 2011-11-18 06:12 hi mac1fan and iRonBiLL >the delay between click and dialog is worse - about 10 seconds. >the entire plugins feels a bit slower too. as you can see in the video - there's an extra dialog appearing after clicking a folder.. And now? >here's the blinking >http://www.megavideo.com/?v=1EQRGUE0 I think it is a XBMC "error" and not an error in the plugin! I can't see anywhere in the code where it should refresh twice. I believe that XBMC itself uses the cached page and then runs the plugin and the page therefore gets refreshed/blink. And it also have something to do with the ATV not being fast enough, because i don't see this blinking problem!! >debug log from the first initialization of 0.3.3: >http://pastebin.com/VgJ8hEYN >the folders were created again and now? >browsing history, my favourites, my playlists, my videos still do not work what do they do, they work fine in my installation!! >putlocker and novamov processors don't work also they're currently fine in the script. >tried with the latest additions from project free tv movies (boseman's dynamic again). socksshare and videoweed are ok. They work fine in my installation!! iR0NBiLL Wrote:That's okay... I'm quite interested in checking out this plugin after seeing some results it's working great. I'm interested in seeing what exactly was adjusted in the plugin cause I'm still confused as to whether or not this is the original plugin modified or a new plugin all together. Thanks.thnks iRonBiLL ... it is the original plugin modified!! im glad you like it!! cheers c_bb _____________________________________________ http://code.google.com/p/navi-x-plugin/downloads/list - macf1an - 2011-11-18 11:08 the blinking problem is specific to navi-x only the debug log in my previous post contained attempts to open every one of the non-working folders in the main screen. "My videos" blanks the screen for a second and then returns to navi-x, the other three report as I wrote earlier: "requested file could not be opened". I guess it has to do something with the paths being messed up. I hope you've checked here for reference http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Special_protocol (the Apple TV example is for the first gen device) I'll try your new version later today. Thanks for your efforts! Anyone else testing this on ATV? Installation of Cool_bombom's plugin - woompa - 2011-11-18 13:20 Does this modified plugin install on top of Navi-x 3.7.1 or is it a stand alone version of Navi-X? I have 3.7.1 and after installing this modified plugin my version number still showed 3.7.1 so I do not know whether the new version installed correctly. Are there any specific instructions or caveats to installing this version? Thanks! - macf1an - 2011-11-18 19:47 here's a debug log from the first run of 0.3.4 http://pastebin.com/4NeDDBgs the second dialog when opening a folder is gone so browsing is as fast as in 0.3.2 but file opening still takes ~10 seconds to show any signs. The new bottom right message "retreiving data" appears at the same time as the scraper dialog - after about 10 seconds. 0.3.2 was the best so far. Edit: It seems to be folder dependent. justme4u2c items take about 10 seconds but fastpass (from boseman's dynamic) takes 4.. again both dialogs appear simultaneously folders are still created... I just noticed a file in the addons folder called plugin.navi-x\source.plx you made a little progress with "My videos". Now it shows the Videos menu's subfolders but going back doesn't return to the plugin but to the main screen. currently I can't show you a log from the putlocker and movshare problem since boseman's dynamic list is broken and it was the main source for such links Edit: working fine now! and fast! may be you should open a developer thread and get some expert XBMC help on those issues |
