So you are using Project Mayhem III ?
If not try that for me when testing Navi-X
Try to lower cache to 1024kb and see if this make it better.

If this doesn't work I can't think of anything else.Maybe rodejo can take a look
into it.And maybe ask for a debug.log?But he is very busy.
So unfortunately you need to wait for his reply.

I just want to bump this thread and say thanks for creating this marvelous piece of code! Smile

I'm running XBMC 9.04.1 BABYLON (stable) with Navi-X 3.0RC now with the same problems. I'm running project MayhemIII and have reduced the internet cache and "unknown" cache to 1024 and still have lockups and "Error: cannot open file" problems.
XBMC is not my default dash however I load it as an app from my softmodded dash - could this be a problem?

After upgrading to 3.0Rc I'm having alot of lockups while loading lists of content. "Please wait..." will be on the screen and I can't cancel or exit to home. I can select home, favorites, view, browse, exit on the left side but pressing on them does nothing. If I leave it long enough the screen saver will show up. The only way out is to reboot the machine.

I have tested Navi-X 3.0 RC again on my XBOX with "t3ch 9.04.1-Fixed-Babylon" XBMC build. I did not change any cache settings. It runs fine without problems. I have an Executer3 modded XBOX.

I cannot reproduce the problems mentioned before.

Thanks for your reply and your work Rodejo.
I'm running a softmodded Xbox - UnleashX boots first then I run XBMC as an application then Navi-X as a script. It almost seems like a network disconnect issue to me but all other network things seem work fine (local and internet). I've tried having XBMC use the dashboard network settings and also setting it up through XBMC itself with the same problems. I'm using a static address for the xbox wired to a router. No unusual network settings.

Debug Log for Navi-X - tikkiew - 2009-11-05 01:56

@Rodejo
Most of the other script/plugin creators ask for a debug log.This way they get more information for possible problems or bugs.Or they have their own system(examples opensubtitle_osd and Xot-UZG) build in there script for a better debug log.Can this be an option for you?This way I think you can exactly see what is going on(for problems that spidey and sierradump are having) .Or any other bug/problem in the future?

OK. I don't get it. Things are humming along nicely with Navi-X and suddenly I am having this recurring problem again. I navigated to the Daily Show feed and tried to download the latest episode. It scrapes and asks for a save point then the download icon comes up and is just flickering away with nothing actually downloading. If you go to view the download queue or completed you get trapped in some sort of loop. You can get to the software restart menu but restarting doesn't work and you have to power off the xbox.

DEBUG LOG

I've tried every combination of xbmc and navi-x with the same result.

It should be noted that there are some files that download without any trouble. Perhaps the debug log will shed some light...could it be filename size or special characters? I've never had an issue the Daily Show files before but....

Thanks.

I see now there seems to be some testing happening. Perhaps this be the cause....

Navi-X Keys For Windows - java007 - 2009-11-07 00:45

I have searched extensively - obviously not enough because it's here somewhere, but can anyone point me to a list of keyboard shortcuts for Navi-X under Windows?

What I'm looking for at the moment is the key to save a playing video to disk. I've done it in the past (certain streams do not work) and want to try it again.

Installed XBMC_for_Windows-9.04.1-repack2 and Navi-X_v30_RC with Windows 7 64bit. Works fine in windowed mode.

Thanks in advance!

Download problems
@taintedsushi
I see you ask the same question also on navix.turner3d.net.
I will make a comment on your question there.
This way more people with navi-x experience will react to your question.

Navi-X Keys For Windows
@java007
tikkiew Wrote:Context menu button are C or application key.
The buttons I use for navi-x are the arrow keys/mouse movement ,enter ,backspace and application key and tab.With tab the currently playing video will play in the background.

The Context menu button is what you are looking for.
