Play url link stored in local computer - User XK4L - 2017-02-11
Hi,
I have a Android TV box with Kodi and I'm able to see my Windows PC stored videos via SMB and play them in my TV.
Apart from actual videos (.mp4, .avi, etc) I have also numerous url links to youtube, vimeo and other video sharing sites.
In Windows, clicking on the url open the associated browser and I can play the video.
Is there a way to make these links play in Kodi or in the Android web browser ?

Place the URL in individual text files and rename the file extension to .strm:

Thanks. I tried to play the attached .strm file and I get an error ...
