Kodi 17 crashes when starting playing or even accessing add-on - klounasx1 - 2017-05-06
Hello,
I'm running Elementary OS Loki on my laptop, with nVidia 860M GPU (which is disabled, so basically running on Intel graphics), i7-4710HQ processor. When I start Kodi, everything seems to be fine, I can even watch live TV using some of the add-ons, however, when I start playing videos (that are not live TV), Kodi always crashes.

This crash occurred when trying to play a video, sometimes Kodi would crash even when browsing through folders on an add-on.
I have already tried changing/disabling hardware acceleration and updating URLResolver, since I read that it might fix the problem but it didn't. Hopefully, I will receive some help from you guys.

You have a number of banned repositories installed. See here...http://kodi.wiki/view/Banned_add-on
We are unable to assist until all banned items are removed.
In your case, I think you will find that once they are removed, the issue will be resolved.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see you trying to play any local video.
If you try using those addons only, then everything is already said by Karellen in the posting above.
