Folders losing "Set Content" after XBMC restart - sigalakos - 2008-02-24

Scrapers work and when you set a folder as a Movie or TV Shows folder, you get all the lookups as expected. However if you close XBMC and reopen it, those folder lose their "Set Content" status and you have to reapply it each time.

I already filed a ticket:

Cool

Ok, I did some more searching and found this to be a "general" XBMC problem with multipaths or something. It's fixed on newer builds. See here:

Let's hope it gets implemented in the newer version as it's rather annoying (I can't build a video library). Confused

The latest OSXBMC build should be pretty much up to date with SVN. What revision was the fix in?

elan, it says:
Revision: 11514
Author: C-Quel
Date: 11:19:13, 05 February 2008
However I found a way to circumvent that. I had enabled the "Update Library at Startup" and "Update Library in background". I disabled both, did a "Clean Library" and each time I restart XBMC my library data gets retained! Big Grin So I don't know "what fixed it" but now that problem got away at least for me.

The last release definitely includes that change.
