Mac desktop in 1080i? Look ok? - bearcat2000 - 2008-05-10 Just wondering if I bought a wireless keyboard/mouse to use when I hook up a mini to my TV if when it is in 1080i format, will the desktop look halfway clear and usable? Thanks in advance. - pmcd - 2008-05-11 bearcat2000 Wrote:Just wondering if I bought a wireless keyboard/mouse to use when I hook up a mini to my TV if when it is in 1080i format, will the desktop look halfway clear and usable? Thanks in advance. Looks fine to me. I find the font to small so I use 1280x720 on a 52" Samsung LCD. It would be nice to have resolution independence or whatever the term is. pmcd - _tv_ - 2008-05-11 If you have developer tools installed you could play arount with Quarts Debug.app, it can change OS X DPI to anything. It's now flawless, finder looks littlebit ugly but It works somekind. Also for alternative there is some apps to change all font sizes in system.. - iordonez - 2008-05-13 Running a computer at 1080i doesn't look good on TV's because 1080i is interlaced. Basically every other line is off. I would suggest using 720p with your computer if your TV can't do 1080p. |
