- spozen - 2009-09-11 17:05 Well it wasn't exactly working out of the box, but all i had to do was to edit the skin.xml file. And change skin version to 3.0. - vajonam - 2009-09-11 20:32 wattazoum Wrote:Currently SVN PPA is frozen because the linuxport branch is still unstable. We got a hard time putting the version that you said were working for you, so that we can take time to fix the branch. wattazoum, there have some posts saying that the PPA doesn't support installing specific version from the SVN PPA. apt-get install xbmc=9.04.3+svn22528-jaunty2 are you aware of this? is this a limitation of the publishing/superseeding process? Thanks - jbernardo - 2009-09-12 09:22 rarspace01 Wrote:I also cant start SVN22743. Well, I was baffled by this until now, but I can confirm that indeed changing the skin version as below fixes it (at least for PM3HD and MediaStream): Code: <version>3.0</version>PS: If you edit Mediastream, can you please change all title character codings to utf8, or else on translations (in my case portuguese) we get strange chars instead of the accented ones? - papaf - 2009-09-12 09:35 I've just upgraded to version 22528 from PPA, but I still had to edit skin.xml to make it work. Is this expected? - spozen - 2009-09-12 16:35 Yep, there is people working on it just be patient. - papaf - 2009-09-15 13:59 No problem, as always I've found the solution in this forum! - Kryspy - 2009-09-17 04:10 I still get DTS problems with 22528. Anyone else? Kryspy - nugentgl - 2009-09-17 05:11 No DTS issues, but 22528 is experiencing random crashes. The previous svn (can't recall now) didn't have these crashes and it only started after 22528 update. This happens on all my boxes with 22528. - spozen - 2009-09-17 23:14 Kryspy Wrote:I still get DTS problems with 22528. Anyone else? What sort of problems? - Kryspy - 2009-09-17 23:37 It cuts in and out and is unusable just like 22290 was. Kryspy |
