Mac Mini Core solo - 1080p - exbeemce - 2008-05-19 Hello, I was wondering if anyone here has a Intel Core Solo 1.5 GHz that is capable of HD content, and with the menu's flowing smoothly. Picking up a used one seems like the best possible option for me due to space, price, and feautures TIA - Evin - 2008-05-19 http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=33199 - yellowman - 2008-05-19 I have a 1.5ghz single core with the original specifications and have tested it a bit. Menus are working fine, but it´s not capable of showing hd-content. 1080p material plays at maybe 10-15fps with constant frame dropping. 720p barely works, when viewing scenes with a little higher bitrate it starts to drop frames there aswell. So I would recommend at least the 1.83ghz dual core, you probably need even more if you want all 1080p material to work. - exbeemce - 2008-05-20 Evi Wrote:http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=33199 Thanks, but this thread does not help me as there is no mention of the specific hardware I mentioned, nor much confirmation on the subject. yellowman Wrote:I have a 1.5ghz single core with the original specifications and have tested it a bit.
