Support for Core Audio interfaces - Eluxtria - 2008-05-27 00:02
When I use VLC, it allows me to send 6 channel surround output directly to my multi-out core audio interface which is connected directly to self-powered speakers.
I'd love to do the same thing when using XBMC.
Currently, I'm using the built-in digital out on my Mac Pro and decoding it via an AV receiver, then its being re-digitized and forwarded to the outputs on my audio interface. I'd love to skip that completely and go direct to the speakers.
