It would be cool to break open the elusive Pictures plugin with the feed from http://www.failblog.org. I've tried adding the rss feed which is at http://feeds.feedburner.com/failblog?format=xml and made a playlist for Navi-x, but it would only give me the titles of the pictures and not pull them up. I figured it would be too easy to do it that way, but I'm stumped at where to go from here.

yeh niki, there are *no* picture plugins to date. Another good idea might be a google images plugin. There is a script...but it sometimes crashes the xbox...doesnt remember searches, and cant download images. Plugin would b nicer. ;-)

Prolific scripting, sir.
Have you thought about abstracting the core of all your work into a streaming video script that leverages plugins (of Voinage specification) for accessing specific sites?
In case you're not monitoring the main requests thread, I'd like to recommend/requests scripts for ...

I have a different kind of request...
Voinage, if you'd upload your plugins to the "svn/trunk/" directory of your googlecode page I can easely adapt the XBMC-Addons Installer Plugin to make it download your plugins with the XBOX.
I personaly like to use TortoiseSVN. It would help a lot if you'd use a...
"http://voinage-xbmc-plugins.google.code.com/svn/trunk/plugins/*plugin type*/*your plugins here*" directory structure.
Where *plugin type* should be music, pictures, programs and video.
Like this.... http://xbmc-addons.googlecode.com/svn/

Wow! That's one hellofa workload Vin. Might try my first tentative steps in the plugin direction myself soon - although I'll have a *lot* of work to do before I get good enough I think. Still if I ever get there it might take a bit of workload off of you. ;-)
I'll have to stick my nose in python, I presume it's all string manipulation/condensing and urllib that I'll need to get most familiar with?
Anyways thanks again for the huge effort you're making here Vin. As I say I definately owe you quite a few drinks so do let me know if you're ever up in Scotland!

i enjoy m8, just wish the people who build websites would be happy to let plugins scrape.
Joox is awful, the server is terrible. It randomly disconnects giving IO Errors.
I have compensated for this with exception handling but you can only do so much.
It still kicks and spits.
On top of that they persist in caching the crappy direct veoh flv, with no permalink for me to grab for the Avi. AArrrrrgh - Silurian people.
Hagen has spoken to them and offered his code to convert to avi ?
Anyway light and peace Bro`s. 8*Rant over*
