Joost updated today - jtodd - 2008-09-19

Joost launched a browser based version today and is expected to offer a linux compatible version later this month - is there any possibility that this will be something that you might be able to work with in the future?

Thanks for all your hard work - I don't know how you do it, but I appreciate your efforts! Have a good one - jt

Would a plugin for Twit live be possible? It uses stickam.

Thanks.

HOW-TO write plugins for XBMC (a step-by-step guide to coding a plugin from scratch) - Gamester17 - 2008-09-20

@Voinage, how are you getting along with writing that HOW-TO guide for coding plugins?

...long time overdue now Wink

How can we persuade you?, maybe a small bribe? Huh

- Voinage - 2008-09-20

I know , had many problems to deal with. Things are slowly regaining normality so full service will shortly be resumed. Although my skills have advanced since i started the tutorial so i will enjoy the touch up. Give me a week, please oh no longer faceless one.
Hehe.

Thank you in advance! - Gamester17 - 2008-09-21

Hi Voinage,
I'm asking this because I tried far too many times without any result. I'm trying to do a small plugin for http://www.rocktelevision.com.
The site is really awesome, and is also sorted by music gender. It should be really nice to be able to see it on XBMC, but I can't manage to get the proper stream in any way - it seems it's working only with WMP... :confused2: can you help me out?
Thanks and keep up the good work! Smile

Southpark plugin is not working perfect here... i can browse till the chapters of an episode.. but when i want to start playing an episode XBMC is freezing...

duron 1300
512mb ram
geforce4 ti 4200
TV-Out

xbmc.log:

(pastebin.ca is currently not available)

- Voinage - 2008-09-24

Yep, that`s because you do not have the latest Frosty patch applied to your xbmc build.
You will have to wait until that is implemented, so unfortunately you cannot use it at all.

That is not an error, please read the forum post.

It is caused by 0x16 packet errors.

See I have mentioned this here:

http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=37664

"If you have Frostys` latest patch then this should work for you."

Also this thread is for requests for plugins not errors which should be reported in the thread pertaining to the release of the plugin.

Try again after the new build of xbmc for windows includes the new patch.

Thanks.

Any chance of fixing veohproxy?

- Voinage - 2008-09-27

As i said i have a fixed version but cant be bothered with a veoh tech coming on the forum and getting the python code then blocking it.
