Hey Voinage, Great work so far on xbmc.
I regularly use a site called sport on Tv http://www.livesportontv.com/football/
which details up coming sports events and what tv channel they are showing on.

Would it be possible to add this to xbmc as a script/plugin?

This would be nice if you could mash it with the http://www.iraqgoals.net plugin I requested a few posts ago, you could have the game, the stream and what TV channel its on.

Hi voinage,

Just wondering what your thoughts were on the future proxy potential for the bbc iplayer or MTVN plugins.

If i could get either or both of these working with proxies I would be deliriously happy!

Am I right in thinking that the only way to achieve that result is for proxy support to be written into the plugin?

Try adding a proxy via the network settings / Internet Access section of Xbmc.

It`s already included, scan for a proxy or find one hehe. Then simply add and run.

Will try that...although I'm pretty sure I remember reading on the relevant threads that the proxy support needed to be built into the plugins themselves and that the XBMC global proxy setting wouldn't work....

Will try to test myself, however I want to be really sure it will work first because I will probably pay for a fast reliable proxy once I'm sure it will do the job Smile

First of all, I have to thank Voinage for the plugins (i found out many useful ones on google code page).
I have no knowledge in plugin creation (i have to check the tutorial), but I have one question about 2 tv streams... so I cand never exit xbmc.

Yup...just got a free trial for a US proxy to test with the MTV plugin.

Configured XBMC correctly for the proxy, entered ip, port, username and password.

Works fine for XBMC's connection, but if I try to run the MTVN script it gives Error 407.

So I think many plugins do need to be modded to enable proxy support....

If there is ever any chance of this for MTVN or BBC iplayer that would be so amazing!

First of all, thank you for all of the work you have put into this. Thanks to you all, I have told my cable company to suck it. I am actively working on converting everyone I know. I have linux mint running this on my HTPC and we just love it.

Second, can we get plug ins for Here TV and Logo TV? That would be awesome.
