Stuttering - kalhua - 2010-01-24
Hello, I am using Apple Movie Trailer to watch trailers however when I change the quality to 1080 I get stuttering. I know it isnt my connection speed as I get over 20meg and things stream perfect from my other pc using quicktime. I have seen reference to changing a config file but I can seem to find what is being talked about. My XBMC is install in Ubuntu, both are up to date.

I just noticed that when I tell it to download and save the speed I am getting is very slow compared to my pc even though when I do a speedtest on firefox is is the same. There must be something causing the slowdown, any ideas?

Apple trailers also stopped with me, running on MAC using the latest nightbuild r27143. Besides Apple Trailers Lite, the Navi-X part of apple trailers don't work.
Unfortunately the Windows client of XBMC works.

Yes i sell media boxes with xbmclive and apple movie trailers lite on them.
I've never had any troubles
And i can stream standard up to 1080 with no buffering

plugin works fine. if you have streaming issues it's on apples side.

same probleme here, can't watch a trailer till 3-4 days, on vista and XP.

Have you tested on the latest svn. Apple trailer went from broken to buffering issues. XBMC keeps buffering like crazy. I have 6mbit connection and never had this problems before.
Will retest tonight with latest svn.,

Plugin stopped working onder XBMC Live installed on HD (running 9.11 final,linux). It still get's the movies but as soon as you select one nothing happens. Will post a logfile tomorrow (have to leave now)

instead of complaining about buffering issues. how about you try playing the trailers with apples QT player.
if it plays fine, then het me the headers, i have no buffering issues, never have.
and as has been stated somewhere in this thread. apple is doing the limiting. so unless you offer helpful info. don't bother posting.

ye looks like apple are doing something, getting a quicktime icon and question mark when trying to view trailers on firefox and google chrome. Happening to people here aswell:

We make up small media boxes with 2 terrabytes and put xbmclive on them.
its just either a mini itx board or a matx board a 2.6 dual core processor with a couple of gigs of ram and a graphics card with hdmi or dvi out, a dvd burner and remote.
Just starting to use the new ion 330 mini itx boards. Smaller the better

My AMT script reloads the database every time I open it. Should this happen? It stores a db file. Why doesn't it refer to this each time?
