Everything works in ver 1.615 and in 1.7 there is nothing that lists the movies but it shows the total of movies. And if I scan for fan art it will complete but still not show the listing on the left side.
I just noticed that if I check the comedy box and then uncheck it the movies will show up in the list. but it lists the nfo file, and not the folder name like in previous versions.
example
version 1.165 name = Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002)
version 1.7 = teg_coadm.nfo
Thanks for that - that's very useful information.
I've managed to duplicate the problem. It appears to be a problem with loading the ComboBox with folder names. I should be able to fix it fairly easily.
If anybody who is experiencing this problem is not using folder names then please let me know.

Suggestion: a way to mass-change Genre - Kris_Toff - 2008-08-26
First off, great app !
I have 500+ movies and generated an nfo plus some file art for (almost) each of them.
They are organized in my own NAS folders by Genre (Animated, Action, etc...)
I would like to request either:
- an option to select multiple movies from the left panel, edit the Genre and then change ALL the nfo files in one click with that genre (instead of having to edit one at a time).
- an set of option in the Preference menu which would allow to FIX specific fields before scraping (this way I would process one folder at a time , such as Action, and force the Genre for each movie/nfo files in this folder to be what I want).
Note that this could apply to other fields that may be common to some movies and used to organize them in specific folders (Genre, MPAA, Year, Watched, etc...)
Is that too much to ask ?

ok just tried 1.702
movies folders save but tv shows still dont save.
also color picker dosent hold selected colors. just returns to default when you save and exit.
my tv show layout is
Z:\TV Shows\American Dad
Z:\TV Shows\Battlestar Galactica (2003)
etc
Where Z= NAS external network storage.(used to work but not with version 1.7+)
and my movies are
Z:\Movies\Action
Z:\Movies\Comedy
etc

I noticed the filenames to the movies are in the Gui now where it used to have the Movie title.. Also my movie count is listed on both movie and tv mode.. The "total episodes" isn't there..
My vids are on a local hard drive..

You need to use folder names for your movies if they are in individual folders. Select it in the preferences page.

And I just finished adding all my TV folders too!

Well that was quick..
Everything I mentioned earlier is working great now.. Thanks for the quick fix.. Now the only thing I need to check is If the Nfo displays the season thumbs correctly once I'm in Xbmc library mode.. I'm not sure why it wasn't previously, since I saw the season thumbs were listed in the Nfo..
Oh and remembering the last folder is much appreciated.. Awesome job on this..

533 movies and a lot of tv show episodes done
No noticeable problems for me in the latest version (1.707). I'm not sure what version you introduced it in, but the fact that the "add a tv show" dialog defaults to the last used folder is a HUGE help.
