Looking good. I personally like both the homescreen and the movies view that shows the info on it.. I like the scrolling icons on the bottom with the large dvd cover on top. Nice. And I really enjoy the big lettered font. And I agree that it has a very, very Vision(2) esque feel to it.
Funny how all the skins just kind of evolved together... Poor old blackbolt and his Ellipsis project... seems as if that skin will be a bit behind the times whenever it comes out... perhaps he can hail it as 'retro' and bring back the 'good ol times' of xbmc before all of this media centric glitz and glamor...

I'm being a bit impatient myself here by asking questions the skin itself will answer. But is there also a horizontal menu option, or some way of configuring it so custom backdrops to be used? I'm thinking that vertical strip down the centre is going to render most artwork unusable...

I was definitely thinking that the AEON backdrops wouldn't work... I'm not sure about the horizontal layout but judging by the design, i bet the skin by default uses backdrops similiar to the red theatre seat backdrop and art similiar to that music panel you see... more along the lines of pm3 I suppose. All of which I think would look stellar.

The movies page font looks awful small to be readable across the living room, I take it you have tested this though? Perhaps its just the screenshot making it look small...
Nice touches though, looks like its been worth the wait. Congrats.

There's two font sizes available. The larger one works OK on a PAL 4x3 29" telly in 16x9 mode, but yes, the skin is ofcourse optimized for higher resolution screens.

I've been reading this forum for a long time and finally registered. I've have tried most skins currently available and settled on Vision 2 for the moment. (Bit easier for my wife to navigate) That being said, I have been watching this thread for a while and I must admit that I am really looking forward to testing this out. Very professional look and kudos to those involved in the project. I'm sure I speak for the masses when I say there is a huge appreciation for what you guys do. Looks like a lot of hours have gone into this. Again, can't wait for the release. Cheers!

This skin wasn't designed around using custom backgrounds. People should be able to find plenty of images that work well with the skin.
