- Hitcher - 2008-07-24 17:19 I think this is a problem with the latest SVN because I had the same thing happen when I compiled my own build. I went back to the last Win32 installer release and everything's fine again. - JATWolf - 2008-07-24 19:41 djh_ Wrote:Go into Aeon->Features and clear all your settings. Tell me if the problem persists. Cool, I will try this tonight. Obviously, you already know this and have been told a million times, but keep up the good work on this skin. It really is something to behold. If I can XBMC itself to get back to playing DVDs and sorting my library alphabetically we can really get somewhere here
- Gustovier - 2008-07-24 22:11 Hello all.. I'm still working my way around aeon, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to enable TV show info in banner mode. It works in showcase mode, but no where else...(I swear I saw an option to disable/enable this for the different library view modes but I can't seem to get back to it..). Cheers! Turn of fade effect on main menu - XBXHKZ - 2008-07-24 23:39 I am trying to figure out how to turn off the fade effect when changing from movies to tv shows, etc.... on the main menu. I figured it out before but I cant remember how.... Movies background images still not working - JATWolf - 2008-07-25 05:07 JATWolf Wrote:Cool, I will try this tonight. Got latest build of XBMC (14418), updated to latest Aeon skin and problem still happens. I did the refresh settings with Aeon as well. I will try rebooting the machine now and see what happens but it seems the problem still exists. I know that that backgrounds were working perfectly a version or two previous with XBMC and Aeon. Let me know if others have seen this or if you have ideas on a fix. - regaining - 2008-07-25 06:28 I am trying to use AEON with the lastest version of XBMC for Windows, with no luck. Any help? Thanks Running out of memory - Lowie007 - 2008-07-25 06:41 Hitcher Wrote:After a lot trail and error I've found the best way to avoid running out of memory (on my Xbox at least) when using fanart on AEON. Hitcher, I've followed all of this and still seem to be suffering memory problems on my xbox. In TV shows I can play shows (most of the time) if I stick to list view, but when on 'episode' view I select a show but it will refuse to play, either freezing the xbox or just not playing. I've resized all backdrops and fanart to 960x540. Where are the settings for thumbnail size? Any other hints or steps you followed would be greatly appreciated. Addendum - Lowie007 - 2008-07-25 06:48 I may have solved the problem... it occurred to me that my screen resolution was set to 'Auto' which was probably defaulting to 1080. I've knocked it back to 720 and I'll continue testing. - Hitcher - 2008-07-25 07:43 JATWolf Wrote:Got latest build of XBMC (14418), updated to latest Aeon skin and problem still happens. This is definitely something to do with the latest build because I couldn't set backdrops in Back-Row either. I'll bring this up in the Windows section later unless someone else does first. Yup, just uninstalled XBMC, got the last stable release (the old one) and the folders are working fine again. the bugs that XBMC is trying to fix in these latest releases will just have to wait. Sorry for the confusion and at least now I know it's on the XBMC side. Thanks for all the help and ideas... |
