Already asked and answered Wink Yes it does

I've now started using this app. I've set it up correctly in settings. But I don't see anything in any view. Could it be because I'm not using the xbmc library? I always use file view - I find it more convenient. Or is there another reason that movies/tv shows/music are not displaying? I'm using the latest xbmc t3ch.

Yes you need the library because data is returned from the database. Scan your items into the library. I think anyone who doesn't use the library are missing out on something really great

Another bug:

rearranging the tab items is not keep if you close app

library is too much work. I've got 1000s of foreign movies. And only a few can be found by the build in scrapers. I don't want to create .nfo files manually for every movie. That's the reason that I'm using file mode.

But I would be willing to go to library mode if it would be easy. Any suggestions? Huh

When I bought this app it didnt say anything about that it will only work with library... I sure hope that file view will be supported in the upcoming version.Nod

You can view your sources in file mode. Just click on the 'More' tab bar button in the bottom right and you'll see both video and audio sources.

You can also replace the defaults ('TV Shows', 'Movies', etc) with these sources if you click 'Edit' on the top right and then drag and drop the icons onto the tab bar.

Why not show them directly when I click on TV Shows / Movies / Albums? Why this extra step? I dont get it.

Great idea. Except 1) the text "Video sources" and "Music sources" are too long. They overlap and go beyond the screen when dragging them onto the tab bar. 2) When I restart the application the default tab bar appears. I have to drag them over and over every time. Maby a bug?

Why not do a new option in Settings that lets the user choose between file view and library view. That's the way all skins do it. I really hope that this will change in the upcoming version.

I'm sure narcan, who is the developer of this program, will be better able to answer your questions.

XBMC Remote for iPhone with XBMC for Windows? - keeganl - 2008-09-18

I was curious if anyone else is having a problem connecting the iphone to XBMC. I am currently running the atlantis beta 1 with Mediastream, but i've tried it with all the skins thinking it might be a skin bug, but still got no connection. I have put the ip listed in xbmc in the iphone. There is no password and the port was left at 80. I still get the same message everytime that it failed to connect to xbmc. If anyone has had this problem and been able to fix it, I would appreciate some guidance. Thanks

Need more information, ...like have you enabled the web server in XBMC under settings? When you do so the first time Windows's built-in firewall should pop-up a message asking if you like to keep blocking it or unblock it, you need to unblock it.

You can then test it with Internet Explorer on the same machine by trying to access http://localhost/

- keeganl - 2008-09-18

I did enable the web server. I also left the port at 80 and the password blank. I just tested the http://localhost/ and xbmc showed up in the browser yet I get no connection on the iphone.

- Gamester17 - 2008-09-18

Must be a firewall then if it works locally, check Windows's built-in firewall lists of what it is blocking.

Do you have another computer on the same network?, if so then you can confirm with it by typing in http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/ in web browser (where "XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX" is the IP-address of the compouter that has XBMC installed).
