So, which is the most up to date build? The one on this site or what you get with XBMC update?

The one with the highest number. Smile

Bingo. Most likely our builds from this thread and the updater application and the builds form his site will leap frog each other, just like mine and ikons do. Maybe his builds can be added to the updater application as well, so no matter where they are you could get to them from the same application.

I have no problems with adding my builds to your auto updater script. I worked for a few days with Big Belly Billy to make my site and builds more compatible with his t3ch auto updater script, I would have no problems doing the same with your auto updater thingy as well.

a couple of the things I added were a clear text build notes
http://www.sshcs.com/xbmc/inc/EVA.asp?mode=BNRaw
and
http://www.sshcs.com/xbmc/inc/EVA.asp?mode=Build
which returns a build and formatted date
Plus I removed my anti-leech function that took me hours to write lol.
There is no direct access to raw files, but my downloader function will allow direct access.
http://www.sshcs.com/xbmc/inc/EVA.asp?mode=NDLC&FN=Linux&BN=20817
http://www.sshcs.com/xbmc/inc/EVA.asp?mode=NDLC&FN=OSX&BN=20817
http://www.sshcs.com/xbmc/inc/EVA.asp?mode=NDLC&FN=PC&BN=20817
http://www.sshcs.com/xbmc/inc/EVA.asp?mode=NDLC&FN=XBOX&BN=20817
So if you grep the build # from the =Build you should have no problems grabbing the latest builds from my site.

if there is anything else you need feel free to ask. I may even do it Smile

no more builds for the updater?

- sialivi - 2009-06-02

Just wanted to drop in and thank all of you who generously help providing us with up to date builds. Also, great work on the updater application. Much appreciated.

azido Wrote:no more builds for the updater?

yeah, what is up with the updater?

- kricker - 2009-06-02

Nothing is wrong with the updater. I can't speak for ikons, but I've been busy with family and work.
