Ok, I've got my build environment up and working now. Do I just add "--enable-libfaad \" in the list of configure options? I've tried just doing this and its said that the faad test failed. I'm guessing thats because I haven't compiled it yet. Any ideas on what to do for that?

Hello,

I have one question about new build [22520] in changelog. There is one feature added:
Quote:Added: Directx Rendering for Win32. Work in progress

Does it mean that XBMC will support Graphic Acceleration?
I have Intel Atom 330 and ION based computer (Asrock ION 330) that needs Graphic Acceleration to play 1080i/1080p videos.

Sorry if it is Off Topic and sorry for my English, I am from Slovakia...
Thanks for any answers...

Dominick

this is not from the same branch and its really far from being done for the dxva(direct x video acceleration)

- natethomas - 2009-09-01

It doesn't mean it will; it just means that using dxva ought to eventually be easier to make happen than it currently is. Whether it will remains to be seen.

You can dual-boot your system with XBMC for Linux to get VDPAU graphic acceleration (supposedly the ION does a great job with this). Search these forums for more info. Welcome to the XBMC forums, and thanks for staying on-topic Wink

are you guys putting a hold on daily builds to cover for this http://xbmc.org/theuni/2009/08/31/follow-up-breakage/

if you are please avoid uploading them to XBMCUpdate server to avoid automatic updates.

I am holding off. I won't post a build until a notification that things have been smoothed out.
