Include LFE channel option when downmixing to 2.0 audio - whysoserious - 2021-01-26 I know I'm an edge use case here, but including an option to add the LFE channel when downmixing to 2.0 audio would be nice. My use case is KODI on a NUC, HDMI to TV, S/PDIF optical from TV to older non-HDMI AVR, with two large full-range speakers. When playing this Dolby Atmos test file (MediaInfo below) I can't get the LFE channel no matter what Audio setup combination I try. For fun, I tried it with a OSMC VERO 4K+ with the same NUC>TV>S/PDIF>AVR combo and was able to enable the LFE channel with audible results. Kodi Windows and LibreELEC don't have this option, but it would be nice to have. Thank you for your consideration.
