Error Message: Archive Support - kidbizkit - 2021-03-24

Whenever I update playlist/library, a message immediately appears saying
"Archive Support
Pathname cannot be converted from UTF-8 to current locale"

Anybody encountered this?

Copied from my Reddit post - A bit late to the party, but posting for informative purposes.

TLDR - there is a file with a non UTF-8 character somewhere in the share. It may be contained in a zip or other compressed file.

I just got this after I added a new share. Luckily it was only about 10 folders with movies and one zip file. I checked all the folder and movie names for odd characters, all clear, but the zip file (which contained software) was a zipped folder containing a file with the copyright "©" symbol as it's first character. Winrar let me delete the offending file without unzipping/rezipping and the problem went away.
