Nope, 10.5.8

ITunes plugin works (does not show embedded album art thou).

Update: Deleted /Users/peca/Library/Application Support/XBMC/ and XBMC app, than I did fresh XBMC_for_Mac-9.04.1-repack.dmg install - XBMC crashed :-(

Unable to load iPhoto db off of a NAS - bmorgenthaler - 2009-12-06

I've tried editing default.py to point the to the mounted volume location but it is still not working. I can access the AlbumData.xml file from Terminal but xbmc won't load it.

Here is a copy of my xbmc.log:

OSX: 10.5.8
XBMC: 9.11 b1

Any help would be much appreciated.

Appears that quite some are having issues with the iphoto plugin these days. I have moved my iphoto library from an external drive back to the default location on my MacMini, but it still does not work. Any thoughts?

Camelot Beta 1
Snow Leopard

Thanks so much in advance!!!

Seems we have exactly the same issue and I was trying the same things. You are using Leopard and I am using Snow Leopard, but this appears the only difference.

Did you succeed in the meantime?

No, unfortunately i didn't.

Hi, should the iTunes and iPhoto Plugin work in the most recent XBMC release? ( XBMC 9.11: Beta2 )

Both Plugins don't work for me (nothing happens when I try to import the libraries) and I'd like to know if they should, before i get deeper into this.

(As this is my first post, to all XBMC-Mac-Developers: Thanks for your great work! I'm amazed which level of quality is possible in a voluntary project!)

They work fine for me on both the AppleTV and the iMac with Snow Leopard (although you will note some have had difficulties with SL). The iTunes and iPhoto libraries are both on an external HD on the iMac (which sources for the ATV). Be sure to take note of the "how to" in this thread.

- adiummy - 2009-12-16

Hm, interesting, my iTunes Music Library.xml File was almost empty. I had to export manually a new one. The iTunes Plugin is working now, but I see absolutely no advantages to manual scanning. Compilation artist aren't grouped and I can't play Video-Podcasts from within the Plugin.

(Boseman: I didn't find a how-to or a manual?!)

Do you know a way to exclude the "Podcasts"-Folder from library scanning? If I could do that I'd be satisfied with the normal library scan. "<excludefromscan>" is apparantly not working for folders.

Sorry for not being clear. No manual I am aware of, just this thread and the default.py source.

There are a couple of examples under boseman which target the ATV but seem to work on my iMac as well.

It does have some limitations in it's current form.

iPhoto and iTunes plugins under Camelot - RIneuron - 2009-12-30

Longtime Plex user giving XBMC a try. Read the stickies and manual, but still unclear on this. Is it necessary to install the iTunes/Photo plugins under Camelot or are they included in the release?

Camelot seems to read my iTunes library OK, although I can't figure out yet how to get album art to display in the list view (it gets scraped if I go to Info individually for each album). Is this functionality part of the plugins or am I missing something in XBMC itself? Thanks.

+1 no iPhoto plug-in love here on fresh new install of camelot on VIRGIN SL mini.
(iTunes works great)
