After XBMC install, finder app keeps looping - pooh - 2008-10-09
Hi,
now i've done it....
- Fresh factory restore to 2.0
- Clean update to 2.2
- applied atvpatch, all ok
- reboot and new bootlogo etc
- ssh in to atv and issued:
* sudo mount -uw /
* sudo touch /.readwrite
* sudo chmod +x /usr/libexec/sftp-server
- Installed XBMC Launcher
- Go to update XBMC and selected Atlantis B2
- Download failed messages, again update, it picked up 3/4 down the progress
- Perform actual update, waiting screen
- Press menu to exit, exit
- Black screen
- Apple logo -> 10 secs -> Apple logo -> 10 secs - apple log etc etc etc.....
I can ssh into atv, and any hints tips would be much appreciated please?
Any logs that I can check?

Ok, tried to get it running agan but all attempts failed. Had to do a 'Factory Restore'. Up and running again. Sorry for the noise.

So now it works?
In your other thread you ask about creating a new Patchstick!?
How did you accomplish it?
Simply a second "Factory Restore" did the trick?

Just tried the exact below steps again, just to see if I did something wrong...
But.. no luck, 'looping' again. So did a factory restore again ('menu '-' ' on the remote) to get back to ATV2.0.
