.idx/.sub subtitles crashes the video - slacker666 - 2008-10-16
I'm loading an xvid movie, and when i browse for the .idx/.sub subtitles for the movie, and load it, the movie crashes and it goes back to xbmc and the dir where the .avi file is. I've tried this in both Beta1 and Beta2, and it's still the same. I've installed the LiveCD onto a 2GB usb mem stick.
Anyone know why this is happening? When i load a .srt file, it works fine.

bumping this thread, since i now have more information. A user in #xbmc reported the same problem but for XBMC Windows, so I think this is something you have to fix before the Atlantis release, would also make my day

How big are your sub/idx files? XBMC and PLEX have some limitations on big these can be, and the tendency is to crash on SUB/IDX combinations that are too large.

they vary from 1mb to 10mb... this bug has been confirmed on all platforms tho
