Yes they do. I'll see if I can't find something I can upload to them today for credits, or maybe find sources elsewhere...totally spaced on doing those for you, been working on h264 playback/wake-on-USB/emulator setup/overclocking. So, sorry. ADD is a biotch. Big Grin

Edit: Grrr...I just looked through about two dozen mmovis for which I have posters...and all of them have three times as many images. I'm just sitting here thinking about how many images I could make if I only had the credits. Maybe I should start asking for donations. Seems like that's the fashionable thing to do lately. Wink

Requests.... - JohnWPB - 2009-01-23

Ok, I have contributed quite a few FanArt images myself, but could definately use some help with these. I know there are quite a few, and do not expect anyone to do all of them! But, on the other hand, if someone is looking for ones to do, here they are Smile

20000 Leagues Under the Sea
Air Buddies
All the Good Ones Are Married
Americanizing Shelley
An American Werewolf in Paris
Balls Out The Gary Houseman Story
Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure
Bottoms Up
The Butterfly Effect 2
Dude, Where's My Car?
Earthsea
Excalibur
Honey, I Shrunk the Kids
I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer
Lean on Me
October Sky
Smokey and the Bandit
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning
Thunderbirds Movie (2004)
Twister

These last 2 are 2 of my favorite movies! If anyone out there has not seen them, I highly recommend them!

White Squall
The Ultimate Gift

Now a final question, and maybe redundant.... when anyone creates the fan art, they are uploaded to MovieDB.org right? I do this myself, so when you scan for fanart with either Media Companion or Media Info, they will be automatically downloaded.

On another note. I am not sure who wrote either program, by forum user name, but think it would be a great idea to be able to upload to the database, as easily as download. For instance, fanart is found for a movie on my system, if it does not exist on server, it should be uploaded automatically. Possibly a "Would you like to share this fanart" dialog when this happens. I am sure there are many out there that have created their own fanart, that have not taken the time to upload them. This would definitely increase what is available on the server!

Art already exists for Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, American Werewolf, Excalibur, Dude Where's My car, and Twister. The one's for Bill & Ted and Twister I made myself.

For these entries, please make a page for them at TMDB so I can just upload the images when I'm done. And seeing as how XBMC now scrapes movie info from TMDB, the more you fill out the better.

All the Good Ones Are Married
Americanizing Shelley
Bottoms Up
The Butterfly Effect 2
Lean on Me
Thunderbirds Movie (2004)
The Ultimate Gift

Otherwise, I got your requests covered. I'm also going to see if I can find better images to use for American Werewoldf and Dude Where's my car. Thanks to the generosity of Nymart, I've now got access to quite a few nice source images. I'm finishing up the last requests that were made, and then I'll get crackin' on your list.

Second, yes, I personally upload everything I make to TMDB, and I know 420smilez does too.

Third...I couldn't agree more about your idea of an auto-upload feature for the media programs. A few of the movies I have art for weren't uploaded to TMDB, and I found myself stopping from picking new images to upload the old ones first so they wouldn't be lost. The problem would be that of ensuring that the file you're uploading isn't a dupe of one that already exists. Duplicate images are already a minor problem. You'd have to have a routine that compared the filesize and dimensions, and then showed the user the image that it suspected of already being uploaded. Even then, I bet it wouldn't be foolproof.

Check back in a day or two for your images. Big Grin

Enjoy. Please help out by filling out the missing fields on these movies. In the future for requests, it helps to make the entries on TMDB if they don't exist too. Then I can just go to the page and upload instead of having to make a page, add it's IMDB ID, then upload poster and fanart. It's not a biggie, but it's easier if I don't have to do it. Big Grin

Ok, I created all the above movies on TMDB. You may not want to waste your time on "All the good ones are married", that was a made for TV movie, and didnt realize it when I posted it.

As for Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, American Werewolf, Excalibur, Dude Where's My car, and Twister... I used both Media Companion and Media Info to scrape for Fanart, and neither one found them... strange... I will have to start checking manually before I post next time Smile

I've got extra HD posters that I'm gonna upload too.

I'll upload them all tomorrow. I'm pretty drunk right now. Wink

- JohnWPB - 2009-01-25

Sounds good! If you have the hi-res art for some of them, and want a hand, you can send me the art at johnwpb <At My> gmail.com email address. I am pretty good with photoshop, removing text, cloning to add more background area ect ect....

That would be me tonight! LOL This is the first time in 6 years my birthday has fallen on a Saturday night Big Grin

Everything is uploaded.

Thanks for the offer, but I can usually manage. Dumbly enough, I never used the repair tool until these past couple of images. Always just the clone stamp. As far as the high-rez sources, I uploaded the majority of the posters these came from as well. If I could find something, I did it.

Balls out is one I'm especially pleased with. I had to be a little creative as there were barely any source images to use...

Ha. Have fun. I know my head was hurting this morning...

- JohnWPB - 2009-01-26

Yea, my head is hurting now Confused

I tried to find art for "Balls Out" myself, and like ya said, there is not much out there.

They all look great! Thanks!! I couldn't find the one for the "Ultimate Gift" though...

- digitalhigh - 2009-01-26

Ultimate Gift I'll have to work on...it's one of those where even my usual source didn't have anything in high-rez.

Same goes to the fellow who asked for "The Chase". Couldn't find bupkiss. What I recommend in this instance is to take a screenshot in XBMC...
