- JohnWPB - 2009-02-01 06:40 Wow, that was a tough one! I could not find an image without the text all over it. It also didn't look right all grouped together in the center, so I moved the guy peering through the blinds over to the left. Then of course I had to reconstruct some of the slats in the blinds that were hidden behind her hair, anf fix the top of both of the guys heads. I also "cleared up" her face a bit, as the scan had a lot of noise in it.... HERE it is, I Hope it's OK..... - digitalhigh - 2009-02-01 10:27 Quote:P.S I have also made a few different fanarts for stand up comedians if anyone is interested I can post them. Mitch Hedburg? @JohnWPB - Very nice work.
- crash123 - 2009-02-01 10:42 @JohnWPB - Looks great thanks. Yeah I thought it would be a trickier one. I really like what you have done I have just cleaned it up a little bit. Please don't take offense. ![]() ![]() @Digitalhigh - digitalhigh Wrote:Mitch Hedburg? Here is one I did ages ago for him. ![]() P.S Here are new LargeImageHost links. - JohnWPB - 2009-02-01 11:24 crash123 Wrote:@JohnWPB - None taken! Its hard to see what you cleaned up in the smaller photobucket version. If you don't mind, email to my gmail.com address. My gmail name is the same nick here in the forums. - JohnWPB - 2009-02-01 12:10 I just did a fanart for Thunderbirds (2004). It is not as good as I would like, but I searched EVERYWHERE for hi-res art! (Just TRY searching Google for "Thunderbirds"! hahah ) I spent over an hour on this one, as I had to get the cast from one place and the ship from another, cut the ship out, and try extend the the "wings" as they were chopped off in all of the covers. (Stretching it to go edge to edge was just upsizing it toooooo much!) I found one cover that was 6100 wide something resolution and though WOW finally, just to download it and see it was probably up-sized from a 800 wide scan or something! hahaah It is decent, and better than others I have seen, so I think it is acceptable..... Now..... I need some help With the upcoming 3rd installment of "Witch Mountain", I ripped the original 2 Witch Mountain movies to my MediaPC so my Nephew can see the originals before seeing the new one. If someone can help with fanart for the first 2 movies, that would be great. I can not find anything acceptable in any of the image sites that I know of....I created the movies on TMDB: Escape to Witch Mountain (1975) Return From Witch Mountain (1978) Here is the upcoming movie if you haven't heard about the 3rd installment yet: Race to Witch Mountain (2009) - digitalhigh - 2009-02-01 18:27 @JohnWPB - I've got some free time today...I'll make you some art. Here's a peek at the text removal I'm doing on "Escape". My end goal is to remove the rest of the crease lines, and then take the little text out of the top and bottom. The bottom will be simple, but the top part looks challenging. Then I'll probably separate the two parts of the picture and then place the people more to the left of the house so you can see the whole thing. The fence makes for a good border. Check it out...I'm damned impressed with myself. Will have the fanart for this and return up tomorrow. ![]() You may also be interested in the art that I did for this movie here: http://themoviedb.org/movie/14623 LOL Although those images don't look too bad. The second one is definitely crispy...well done. First one is just a *tad* blurry. You should try playing around with the sharpen\unsharp mask filter in Photoshop. If used properly, it can help pics with a little bit of fuzz. ![]() @Crash123...I see we use the same image sources. That's my current poster image for "Comedy Central Presents Mitch Hedburg". Myabe I'll take some screenies today as well. I use http://www.largeimagehost.com for my large images. Tinypic is also quite popular. - crash123 - 2009-02-02 02:04 Quote:Check it out...I'm damned impressed with myselfWow I would be too. You have done a great job of those. I was just wondering how do you guys take screenshots in XBMC. Is there a way to pause and take the picture without getting the playback dialogue in it as well? - JohnWPB - 2009-02-02 05:57 Wow, looking good! Yea, that top part is gonna be tough. I myself would prob pain the text with the darker blue, and then try to clone in the branches from other places. - crash123 - 2009-02-02 06:30 Hi, Another request from me: The 1978 film Blue Collar Starring Richard Pryor, Harvey Keitel and Yaphet Kotto. IMDb link. Thanks - JohnWPB - 2009-02-02 09:12 crash123 Wrote:Hi, I did what I could.... You have to realize the movie is from 1978 and the image quality back then is just not that great. This is from a decent scan of the cover, but still looks pretty bad, due to the quality of the cover when it was designed. I did not upload it to MDB, as I just dont think its good enough quality. It will do for now, until and if something better could be found. You can check it out HERE |
