low FPS on XMBC (beta2 atlantis) on AppleTV - anshuman - 2008-10-31
Hello guys,
I managed to easily install both Boxee and XBMC .
XBMC was fine but i started playing around and even installed the Amazing Skin AEON and using it.
now , suddenly . avi (xvid) files are totally stuttering as if on very low FPS, same files are smooth on Boxee. how to repair this?

I think the AEON skin is too heavy for the ATV hardware. Have you tried to play the same files with a lighter skin?

well, i just tried same clip on mediastrom skin too, (another sexy skin), even there too, Video choppy, same one.
Is there a way to uninstall everything regarding XBMC and install again?

System / Video / Player / High Quality Upscaler : what do you have there? It must be deactivated.
Are you playing from local disk or streaming?

Dayaam Krieg, I lovee you man .... totally totally love you . That solved it... stupidly i enabled it thinking it will help and thats when problem started, i should have guessed.
