Hi I love mediastream on XBMC and lately bought a XBOX but there's a problem XBMC wont open TV shows or some movies. But when I switch to a different skin it can and works perfect. I've already downloaded 3 types of mediastream could anyone help me?

Greets,

Wezeltje

Greets,

Wezeltje

that happened to me.

The problem I was running into was that the Xbox was running out of memory and therefore couldn't open up the media file.

MediaStream is very intense for an xbox, although I think there is an xbox specific mod for Media stream that is stickied to the top of the forum. give that a shot.

Must add to that that the original mediastream 1.0 Lite mod worked on my Xbox but that all later ' better' versions fail misserably. Unfortunately the old 1.0 version I can no longer find anywhere Sad
So it might be that the user searched but just all solutions provided don't work for him (lik for me)

I will be rebuilding Mediastream 1.0 Lite in the next week or two and hopefully it will run even better than before i am also going to try to add flag support to it.
I will update the relevant forum once it's done and as far as i know it does support mouse control?Smile
Ps there are still two of my old skins in the first link in my signature if that's any help

Yes, tried those but still no luck.. still half the videos refuse to play because of memory.
Will wait the new 'old' v1 Wink

It's really too bad XBMC can't throw an error instead of silently failing.

I hope this comes soon, PM3 is ugly, because the original Xbox interface was ugly. I hope that someday people stop trying to be Microsoft.

Make sure that you are running the latest build of XBMC .. released on a few days ago and use Paul's MOD as it runs no problems at all. One thing to be sure is to turn off fanart if possible. Either that or manually optimise your fanart images as they will cause memory issues.

I'm using the latest XBMC and MediaStream versions.

Like Pstftrnt, I also use a mouse only for navigation. I see a mouse cursor, and it seems to work in the MediaStream config interface, but not in the actual main interface.

The mouse cursor can be seen, but clicking right/left/dbl click doesn't have any effect. The scroll wheel also works...

paul mentioned that it should work? Is something wrong at my end, or does MediaStream not support mouse navigation/control?
