I'm using T3CH XBMC 12-30-08 on XBOX

Just wondering if anyone else is able to duplicate this behavior.
If not, I'd be happy to post a debug log.


Using rwparris2 I have been able to duplicate it. Just go into the settings.xml and set the following to "false":

get_show_plot
get_episode_plot
flat_movie_cats
get_movie_plot

There is either a memory problem or its trying to grab those items too quickly.

rwparris, your version is nice. works well. one thing. you check for a non existant setting "quality", so it errors. maybe you have the saved settings with that in there before you commented it out.

I know, I'm rewriting it for less messy code & to support hulu's rss feeds & queuing. I've been distracted trying to break their us-only crap, but I've given up on that for now so I'll be releasing it sooner than later.

too many consecutive failed items - avmano - 2009-01-09

I'm getting the same thing a few other people have posted about "too many consecutive failed items". I have the the latest T3CH XBMC 12-30-08 on xbox and I've tried 3 of the versions of the plugin including the one on page 18.

I got hulu on PlayOn to work, just cant get this to work.

I realized my problem. I upgraded my XBMC through the Tech download, but it doesn't start the new version automatically when xbox turns on.is stores it to e:/apps/xbmc. I had to ftp and replace my dash for the 12-30 tech to work on startup. Now crichton works great everytime.

Thank you hrcolb0. Looks like the upgrading through the xbox interface was not really upgrading. I upgraded through ftp and it works now. yay! Great work guys!

I see it looks like the cpu can't handle h264. Maybe adding ram or replacing the cpu would help.

Error with plugin when running on windows XP - zachmorris - 2009-01-10

I initially had an issue where the "quality" setting was commented out. After uncommenting that I was able to get the plugin to show me a list of the videos, but I get the following error when I try to play one of them:

So far the new vesion (r2) is great.. Here are some issues that needs fixing ..

- TV show catogories list movies as well as tv show.
- Once you slect the tv show quality on the popup window, it shows up another window to choose it again ...

Feature Request:

- Search Feature for tv and movie
- Default Playback Quality Setting ( High , Medium, x264 )

Which "settings.xml" file are you referring to? Where is it located?
