Just a stupid question...

Does "Discard connection when timeout occurs" means timeout for accessing the database, or timeout for locking a signal on a channel ?
Actually, I've got some issues with the signal quality for the tv reception. And sometimes mythtv isn't able to lock the channel, but it fails in timeout. But it seems that when it happens, mythbox doesn't give up and the yellow circle can rotate during 10 or 15 minutes.

I'm still not quite there.. Ubuntu Natty AMD-64, unstable trunk XBMC, MythTV 0.24 and latest hg update of Mythbox.
Whenever I go into MythBox for the 2nd time, I get this error:
MythBox:Initializing Updater - Error: 'NoneType' object is not callable
Also, when I'm in a show detail, I'm unable to use the cursor keys to go up and down over the "Delete" button - however, I can select it with the mouse..

Any idea when a new update will be released to support the latest version of mythtv? I'm curious cause I just picked up a HDHomerun Prime, and so far it works great buy tied to WMC for live tv. This plugin looks fantastic, and I'm gonna work on setting it up. But would be awesome if I could watch live tv. Thanks in advance! Kudos to the developers for this plugin, so I don't have to deal with WMC..

OK, I'm glad it's not just me.
I have however, just started using the build in MythTV connector from XBMC.
It's not as pretty as MythBox, but is more stable and provides better FFWD & RWND features.
Just do this:

Mythbox/OpenElec - nojstevens - 2011-09-10
Hello,
I have Mythbox working great on OpenElec connected to 0.24 and running one of the opendkamp PVR builds so I have the newer Eden code allowing XBMC to play streams from 0.24
It works great with my HDHomeRun setup, but my HD-PVR will not stream. If I connect to mythbackend using mythfrontend, everything works great but on Mythbox only HDHomerun works. It seems like the program times out before the stream starts.
Does anyone have any advice for me? Anyone having the same issue?

I have had my HDHomerun Prime for almost a week and love it! Been struggling to get a good working solution with my (2) XBMC Live systems running 10.1.
I setup a VM with the latest MythBuntu .24 with fixes to support the HDHomerun Prime.
The best I have done is got the guide working in Mythbox. No live TV.
I know you can create stream files for each channels, which might be my only solution at this point in time.
The other thing I noticed is XBMC and MythTV both don't "lock the HDHomerun tuner" which allows other programs to steal your tuner connection. Was wondering if there is a way around that or if that is something being worked on?
I can connect to WMC using uPNP with no issues.
I have heard that XBMC 11 will support PVRs, so that is very promising. I can't wait - but if there is something I can do in the meantime, please let me know.
