Thanks, that's the only thing that was holding me back from trying openelec. Next after getting it working with my existing hardware is to wait for openelec RC6 with VAAPI and see how the new AMD E350 platform performs.

Hi, I'm running this on Ubuntu 10.04 and it works great.
I just have two questions that I can't seem to answer even after extensive searching.
Firstly - how can I skip forward 1 day on the guide. The read me shows nothing for a keyboard and forward skip for a MCE remote, which doesn't work on my remote (an original xbox remote).
Secondly - can you change the default recording settings. I like to start recording 5 mins early and finish 5 mins late. At the moment I use mythweb where I have this set.

MythBox is working great on my Ubuntu Natty install with MythTV 0.24.
I'm having one small problem with the guide. When I set a program to record it doesn't become highlighted in the guide until next time I open it.
Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Does "Discard connection when timeout occurs" means timeout for accessing the database, or timeout for locking a signal on a channel ?
Actually, I've got some issues with the signal quality for the tv reception. And sometimes mythtv isn't able to lock the channel, but it fails in timeout. But it seems that when it happens, mythbox doesn't give up and the yellow circle can rotate during 10 or 15 minutes.

I'm still not quite there.. Ubuntu Natty AMD-64, unstable trunk XBMC, MythTV 0.24 and latest hg update of Mythbox.
Whenever I go into MythBox for the 2nd time, I get this error:
MythBox:Initializing Updater - Error: 'NoneType' object is not callable
Also, when I'm in a show detail, I'm unable to use the cursor keys to go up and down over the "Delete" button - however, I can select it with the mouse..
Here's part of the log, but I can e-mail the whole lot if helpful.
