It's working great! - junk - 2009-01-13
A big thank you to all contributors - especially the developers - of XBMC for a great HTPC software. I previously used MediaPortal with VLC as external player, and it didn't work half as well as XBMC does out-of-the-box.
I really like that everything in XBMC is fully integrated. From a users point of view, there's just XBMC - nothing else. I got suprised when I saw on Trac that you're actually not re-inventing the wheel, that you are using existing codecs behind the scenes. I think this is one of the greatest advantages of XBMC.
