In Photoshop you have the Imageprocessor and there you can save a whole folder in a new format with new dimensions.
If you do not have Photoshop, there are many different programs. Search in Google for "batch processing" "pictures" and I guess you will find something. Please don't use Paint Big Grin. hope this helps you Wink

yeah that helps alot

thankyou, and thankyou everyone else.

I use 600x600.

600x600 is kind of the unspoken standard in album art world.

Make sure you album art searchers use the greatest grabber known..

hahahah

Anyhow, I used to use this site a while back

http://www.freecovers.net/

They have alot of covers of all sorts, games, movies,cd's. Unfortunetly some of the quality isn't amazing, but I've usually had no trouble finding what I need, and most images are around or above 1000x1000, so for an album it'd be no problem resizing them to 600x600.

After these two pictures I am even more hyped.

I never understood what the book marking function is used for... is it just to make it easier to go to certain parts of videos?

Yup....from the Wiki

- joebrady - 2009-02-23

Yea, I never had any use for it. Especially since there is the resume function that picks up a movie where I left off, if I do have to turn a movie off. (I usually just don't watch a movie unless I have time to finish it) Now, maybe if I had a 4 hour Adult movie with some scene that I REALLY liked, then I guess it could come in handy... but I usually just do, skip, skip, skip, oh, there it is...

In theory you could use the bookmark feature to setup your own chapters much like DVD's/Blu-Rays have chapters... I'm sure most of us have movies which are single mkv's and not ISO thus we have no chapters and browsing to parts of the movie is as hassle... this would make it much more 'DVD/Blu-ray' like...

Okay...thanks for the info...I wonder how the new Aeon will use Album Art etc?

some of my mkv files have chapters and xbmc honors them .. i'm hoping in the future more groups will support this and add them by default

- jarod71 - 2009-02-24

will Stark have a carousel view for games like in the music section?

- djh_ - 2009-02-24

For this first version it'll have a uniform set of views for everything, but with occasional options and tweaks for specific media types. There's an entirely unique TV section in the works but it's far from where I want it to be at the moment, so it's been sidelined for the sake of getting things finished. I'll return to it sometime after March and have another go. So yes, whatever view exists for one thing will be available for the others.

To be honest, the TV show implementation that's in there now is far from ideal, but better than the original Aeon's. It looks nice enough, anyway. The trick is getting some of the ghastly artwork the scraper pulls down to play nicely with everything else. The "proper" TV section, if and when it arrives, will involve a significant change to thumbnails anyway; we might have to reconsider the size and quality we're accustomed to.

- maui917 - 2009-02-24

Very cool to hear that you are spending some time on the TV section. Even if we don't see it for a while. This section is my only dislike from the original AEON. I really liked Media Streams attention to this area, and look forward to seeing what you have up your sleeve for the TV shows.
